GREEN PASSPORTS VALID UNTIL STATED DATE OF EXPIRY 387 times read
The Philippine Embassy in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh wishes to inform Filipinos, especially in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives, that all green passports (Non-machine Readable Passports or non-MRP) will be valid until the stated date of expiry scripted inside the green passport.
This advisory is issued to reiterate the Department of Foreign Affairs’ previous statement on the validity of green passports and to allay confusion roused by recent erroneous information.
The Philippines has been issuing Machine Readable Passports (MRP) since 17 July 2007.
